It’s Windy Out There!
Tonight Trickydame came home with much excitement! She signed up for Wind Energy!
Apparently with the new de-regulation of power, as electric consumers we now have the right to choose where they get their POWER from! And we can choose to buy 100% WIND!
It’s very simple and Trickydame met a very nice man who is interested in helping others switch over to WIND POWER.
Right now, Con Ed is getting energy by 35% Coal, 18% Natural Gas, 11% Hydro, 20% Nuclear, 15% Oil and 1% Wind … by switching to Wind Power, you being using Clean Power. Go to the website below and learn all about the WIND FARMS popping up all over the Northeast! They are using farm land to put these big white fans and the farmers make money by renting the land. It’s a Win Win for everyone including the Planet.
Jeff told her to spread the word: email him for info!

She met him when she went to GREENDRINKS. Yes, they had a special “green martini” but what was even more impressive was all of the people who came to mix & mingle and talk about how to make the world a healthier place.
What is GREENDRINKS? Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up for a beer at informal sessions known as Green Drinks – its a chance to mix with other like-minded folks, to network, share info and make friends. These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It’s a force for the good spreading around the world.

It was pretty cool and I hope the next time she goes, she takes me! After all, Environmental Issues is one of my main reasons for running for PRESIDENT!
Trickydame told me she did tell people about me… that’s good.
also… if you live in NYC, I have a challenge for you – say NO to Un-necessary plastic & paper from take out places. Do you really need your sandwich wrapped in PLASTIC and why do you need 5 napkins with that coffee?
Thank you for being Green.
